My husband and I will be in Paris in a week for just 2 days and want to make sure we understand how we are getting to places. We will arrive Monday by Eurostar and need to get to Hotel Splendid Etoile to drop off luggage so we can see the Louve. What is the best mode of transportation? I think everything else is easily seen by bus or walking (Yes?) Also, any suggestions of where to eat? We want to soak in the Paris ambiance.

Take one of the taxis at the stand that%26#39;s located across the street from Gare du Nord. Otherwise, you%26#39;re right walking is a good option as Paris is a great walking city. And, yes, the bus (and metro) is a good way to get around too.
