how to get from santiago de compostela to aix en provence

im not sure wheather is my question relevant to this forum or not... but am desperately looking for some help how to get from santiago de compostela to aix en provence (stay there some time and discover the amazing city and landscape around) and from there to prague...

if you could just give me some link about pages with travel information or if there is something like front passenger offer in your country(this is service free of charge, you just announce on the page that you are travelling by car somewhere and you have some space in your car for some other people...)

You need information about trains to begin with and the easiest website for that is the German rail one (although your journey is in Spain and France) www.bahn.de

Trying to travel cheaply -

there are no low cost flights directly from Santiago de Compostela to Marseille (nearest airport to Aix-en-Provence), but there are flights from Santiago to Barcelona (with Vueling and Clickair) for about 40€ for the dates I checked. Then the Eurolines coach runs overnight from Barcelona to Aix-en-Provence, again about 40€. There may be other possibilities if you ask on the Spanish forum.

There are also Eurolines services between Aix and Prague, prices ranging from about 100€ down to 40€ for promotional fares booked more than 45 days in advance.

Sample times: leave Aix Wednesday 15/07/2009 at 16:30

Arrive Prague Thursday 16/07/2009 at 14:45
