Want to stay at prairies del mer

Could any one tell me what is the nearest airport to this place also has any one been with club cantabrica

Hi there

we have just returned from Prairies de la mer on sunday. we flew to nice which is about an hour - hour and a half away from the campsite. You can also fly to Marseille too.

We got our transfers through Paradise cruises who took us straight to the campsite.

Last year we went with Club Cantabrica by bus and stayed with them on site. Is that who you are travelling with??

This year we stayed with Siesta holidays in their lodges.

We havent booked yet not sure to go with club cantabrica have heard siesta are better how was it travelling on the coach

you can book direct with the campsite via www.riviera-villages.com but then you would have to organise all your transport etc, eg hire car.

travelling by coach is long but it was comfortable.

We found club cantabrica cheaper to book with , however Siestas accomm is so much better. Firstly it is in a prime position on the campsite near reception. Secondly the accomm gives you a lot more than cantabrica eg air con, tv, dvd player, more fac%26#39;s in the kitchen. The staff are fabby at both company%26#39;s, siesta managers are marilyn and alf and they are very helpful and their team always make sure everythings running ok for you. We have seen their coach and it is miles more roomy than cantabricas - it is more modern too. Although we loved flying this year we weere delayed for 5 hours and had a lot of hassle we are considering going with siesta next year by coch.

When we went this year siestas lodges were fully booked but cantabricas we heard were only half full, i think becoz you walk past siesta on the way to cantabrica and you see the difference in quality like we did last year and you want to stay in them the next time!!

We stayed in a deluxe 8 lodge with Siesta last year, across from it were Siesta 8,6 %26amp;5%26#39;s. All the accomm are lovely as the year before we got shown the different lodges by siesta.(we were staying with club cantabrica and the siesta lodges looked far better so we were cheeky and asked the siesta rep and she showed us the different ones!! Well, it worked as we returned last year and we are booked again for September this year!!)

The interiors of the lodges are fab - lots of room, more than you think. The location is great also, near to everything. You can hire a saftey dep box in the lodge or from the reception.

Im sure you will have a good stay with siesta - have you been to Prairies before??
