hotel with a nice terrace or gardens?

Hi guys, heading to Paris in July for my 1st wedding anniversary - its our 2nd time in Paris so we%26#39;ve done the major sights.

Anyho wanted a bit of help choosing a hotel with an area we can sit out in an relax - a garden or terrace? Not too fussed which area we stay in - althought we want to stay kinda central, stayed in St Germain last time and loved the area so wouldnt mind staying there again.

Appreciate your help!!

Cheers Faux thsi place looks perfect!

I sent a booking request to them last night fingers crossed they have a room free!

Anyone know of anywhere else??

In St-Germain there is the very nice Hotel de l%26#39;Abbayé (http://www.abbaye-paris-hotel.com/) that has a garden, it%26#39;s a more expensive hotel though.

Best Western Regent%26#39;s Garden has a garden, it%26#39;s in 17th district, a 7-10 min walk to Ternes metro station.

|||

It%26#39;s Hotel de l%26#39;Abbaye. And here%26#39;s the site for the BW Regent%26#39;s Garden hotel-paris-garden.com/English/TheHotel1.html

And the BW has very good specials for July.

Pauline,

I hope you do get a room at Hotel Grandes Ecoles. I have stayed there and it is delightful with a wonderful garden to relax in yet in the best location....spoilt for choice for restaurants etc.

I%26#39;m going to Paris in October and am hoping to stay there again.

Thanks those other 2 hotels look beautiful - but the rates are a bit high for us.

Hotel Grandes Ecoles is charging €115 a night - I thought that was quite good, is that the standard rate?

|||

It%26#39;s the standard rate for July. In July and August many hotels have lower rates and good promotions (like the BW I mentioned).

Another option would be Hotel Muguet (www.hotelparismuguet.com). It has a pretty planted courtyard and the hotel itself is quite nice and reasonably priced. It%26#39;s in the 7th district close to the Eiffer T and les Invalides.

I think InnaM is right. A lot of hotels lower their prices in July, particularly after Bastille Day, and August. I was quoted 129 Euros for a standard room at the Grandes Ecoles for 11 September 2008.
