Hotel New York query

Hi guys

We%26#39;re going to stay at Hotel New York in 2 wks time - can%26#39;t wait ! Anyway, i am ultra claustrophobic and don%26#39;t do lifts so I requested a room on a lower floor - they say they will try to fit us in on ground floor near reception. Just checking if anyone knows what these rooms are like and security wise will it be ok ?

Also wanted to ask about HB plus - we%26#39;ve booked it but can%26#39;t find a list of restaurants that it covers?

Thanks a lot

Hi SharonP

Not sure about the rooms they have at ground floor , but think they are pretty near the Cafe Mickey and can well from outside maybe get a bit more noise when staying on ground floor since every thing is there.

I think the HB Plus cover most of the restaurant in the area.

If you are completely on the ground floor you may get some outside noise as the path cleaners go by early morning and friends who were on ground floor the other month said that disturbed them. Could you do first floor and do the stairs?

Just take some earplugs. They are a necessity when travelling. No matter how quiet a place usually is, all it takes is a puppy howling all night to ruin it.

It%26#39;s hard enough to get a really good night%26#39;s sleep in a strange bed without having to adjust to the strange noises that go with it - hence ear plugs.

hey guys thanks a lot for your replies - I would cope with the noise way better than the lift ! lol

Going on Wednesday - my wee son is beside himself with excitement!

Cheers

Sharon
