MSM on a Sunday in June-logistics?

I need some technical help here. We%26#39;re traveling from Bayeux to Brittany on a Sunday in late June. According to the tide charts, the high tide is at noon. It also notes that we need to be there at least 2 hours before to %26quot;observe the rising tide%26quot;. I expect Sunday would be a mob-scene, but that%26#39;s our best option. Once we park, how long should we allow to get from the lot to the best viewing areas--I understand it%26#39;s a hike (and we%26#39;ll be with two school-age kids). Any recommendations on directions to head to? I%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s best to take the left-hand route up into the Mont.

Late june the tide should came up to the Mount without covering the car park. The best place to see the tide is from the North tower. That is on the town wall at the top before you actually go into the Abbey. But as the tide will come to the foot of the mount you will see it from anywhere on the walls.

A Sunday in June will be crowded. Try to visit the abbey early or at 12 noon. The french eat at noon so the abbey will be %26quot;less crowded%26quot;.

I love your use of quotation marks around less crowded. Thanks for the facts!
