just returned. wonderful place

Hi. I just returned from paris, and thanks to all the reading in this forum, I had a great time.

We stayed in the k and k hotel cayre, at 4 raspail boulevard, and I would highly recomend it to anyone.

The folks there were very helpful and fun. We had the most wonderful room, and close to all transportation, and many museums, etc.

The metro was real easy to figure out, and the bus system is really great.

Can%26#39;t wait to go back now!

We are going at the very end of August and also staying at the K %26amp; K. Glad you liked it! Did you follow any of their restaurant recomendatins? Any other advice re: the hotel? Tanks!

Yes Every time we asked at the desk ...what should we do next, they had lots of recomendations.

they have maps at the desk, and will show you just how to get there, and how much it will cost.

Serge and Franke are there in the afternoons, and are so funny also. They were a great help to us.

They did suggest the bus tour, but we opted to just take the city bus. and save money...then we met some great folks on the buses, that spoke good english, and were more than happy to tell us lots of info.

Also the metro is just outside the door, and very handy.

Go down to the metro booth, and they will assist you in puchasing the 3 day travel pass. (20e) and that is good on the bus, and the metro. That was invaluable, as we covered the whole city, no problem.

Also next door to k and k is a shell station, where we went almost daily for snacks, and drinks.

And around the corner from the hotel is a g20 food market, as well as lots of other shops.

The breakfast deal they have there is a great value, as there are lots of choices and very fresh food. Be sure to take advantage of the sauna, when your feet get tired, It helps a LOT. And they give you plush robes and slippers to use free.
