French restaurant within walking distance from IL St. Louis?

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good French restaurant within walking distance of Jeu de Paume hotel on Il St. Louis? We want a great dinner for under $400 for two people including wine. It does not have to be fancy, but cozy and romantic with great cuisine would be the best!!

thanks!

Wow. That%26#39;s a nice budget to be looking for a great dinner.

Take a look at eatinparis.com Toggle English or French language, neighborhood location, ratings, cuisine type, etc and it%26#39;ll give you some choices with some reviews, day/hour opening times, contact information, etc. The reviews seem a bit outdated, but the restaurant names will be a good start.

Good luck. You%26#39;ll want to make some reservations once you pick a place. Please write a review after you get back.

We go to LeFinGourmet on the island. It is kitty corner across the road from Berthillon. And it won%26#39;t cost 400 euro by a long shot. Young man owns it, and has owned it for several years. Buts out an excellent meal.

On the island and under budget: Mon Vieil Ami, Le Tastevin or Relias de L’Isle.

Walking distance: Les Bouquinistes or La Tour d%26#39;Argent.

Also check out L%26#39;Atelier Maitre Albert (walking distance).

I will second Le Tastevin, it%26#39;s on the island. Wonderful ambiance and it well fits under your budget.

I liked Sorza on Ile St. Louis, but it won%26#39;t even cost a fraction of the money you posted. It is not %26quot;super%26quot; romantic, but romantic enough. It is nice, modern, and has really good food.

Here%26#39;s another vote for Le Tastevin. I try to dine there each visit if I can.

Mon Vieil Ami is the place to be on the island for excellent cuisine. Off the island, but nearby, people are raving about Itineraires.

We stayed on Ile St Louis 3 years ago for our 20th anniversary and are booked again for later this month. We ate at Mon Vieil Ami and have reservations there again for this trip because the food was excellent but it is definitely not cozy and romantic. Tables are very close together as in most Paris restaurants. The one romantic meal with great cuisine within walking distance that we had was on the Don Juan II - the dinner cruise with Yachts de Paris. It is a 5 minute walk to the dock; it was one of the best dinners we had on our trip; the ambiance is terrific, very intimate; service wonderful; and what could be more romantic than eating as you watch the beautiful buildings of Paris lit up at night going by. It will cost you more than $400 when you include the drinks but I always say it was worth every euro. This is not at all like the other dinner cruises. It is a beautiful yacht with only a handful of tables and excellent cuisine. First class all the way. If it%26#39;s for a special occasion, I say %26quot;go for it%26quot;.

Just a clarification, dinner and drinks for two on the Don Juan II would set you back €498, which is approximately US$665.
