honeymoon cote d'azur/provence operators

Hi,

I%26#39;m going to go for 3 weeks in june to cote d%26#39;azur/provence and I%26#39;m seeking some guidance and deals from any operators who specialise in that area.

I%26#39;m looking for a combination of 1 week coast (cannes) and 2 weeks touring provence. Happy to stay in a base for 1 week if it was an apartment. I%26#39;d also like to spend 3 nights in Hotel Crillon le Brave as a piece of luxury.

I%26#39;ve booked flights to Nice already, now I%26#39;m looking for some good deals for the accommodation. I will have car.

as a B%26amp;B owner I don%26#39;t know of any tour operators who do this area. The only way you may get a deal is if you go to a large hotel chain %26amp; they have a spaecial ofer. B%26amp;B%26#39;s only have 5 rooms (French law) and people book direct. The hotel at Crillon may be luxury but there are some other lovely places in Western Provence at a third of the price. I don%26#39;t know any tour operators that really do this type of trip planning either. There are operators that will book your flights, trains and any organized tours (normally from other large tour specialists), but that%26#39;s it round these parts. You can hire private drivers to do day tours, etc. and/or you can use private tour companies (such as the many out of Avignon) for specific tours, but I don%26#39;t think that is what you are looking for ?

As to Hotel Crillon le Brave ... Well, it is rather over-rated IMO and very over-priced. I drive by it nearly every day of my life and I just can%26#39;t get excited about it. Still, if this is what you really want, you should do it. It may fulfill all your wishes.

Like Escargot said, there are SO many special places to stay in this region. I%26#39;d try to look at quite a few before making the final decision (especially if your budget is at Crillon prices). That%26#39;s just me.
