Affordable B&Bs or smaller boutique hotels to recommend?

I%26#39;ll be traveling to Paris with a friend in July for a few nights and want to stay in a place with some character, doesn%26#39;t have to have a lot of amenities, in Montmartre, the Latin Quarter or Le Marais. Ideas? Around 75-100 euros/night?

Try this website. It might contain a number of good ideas for in city chambres d%26#39;hôtes:

I%26#39;ve been staying at this tiny hotel for over 15 years, Les Degres de Notre Dame, 10 rue des Grands Degres, email address: lesdegres@wanadoo.fr. Website: wwww.lesdegreshotel.com It%26#39;s more like a restaurant with accommodation upstairs. There%26#39;s no lift, being a medieval building, but in the most utterly wonderful location, on the left bank, in a little side street across the road from Notre Dame. Nearest metro: Maubert Mutualite, where there%26#39;s a lovely little market a couple of days a week around the metro entrance. Sensational location, even if this place is full--as it only has 11 or so rooms, that%26#39;s a distinct possibility. I%26#39;m afraid you might be stretching it ref. price, but this is worth a bit extra, because of its location, charm and ambience. Even if you don%26#39;t manage to get a room, do try their restaurant--great food, well priced for the quality (I especially love their tagines). Another possibility nearby could be the Hotel de Notre Dame in rue Maitre Albert, which is one street away from Les Degres. You wouldn%26#39;t go much wrong with pretty much anywhere in the 5th arrondissement near Notre Dame, and in the direction towards St Germain des Pres--careful though of places on the major roads: ask for a quiet room!
