Hello All,
My wife and I are traveling to Paris for 6 nights, but were thinking we would like to break it up. Stay in Paris 2 nights,_____ for 2/3 nights, then back to Paris and home.
My wife really likes the idea of the French Riviera and beaches. But, everything I read is that it is extremely crowded and expensive. What do you guys think? Any suggestions for places around the south of France? Corsica? Maybe some less known and less expensive, less touristy places?
Also, PLEASE be free to give suggestions on perhaps another great area to travel to for 2 or 3 nights to break up our trip. Your contributions are appreciated.

When are you traveling? - that would make a difference in your options
Have you been to Paris before? if not 6 days will fly by - so much to experience. You could do a day trip to Verseilles, Chartre, Gervany(SP? - Monet%26#39;s town)
Remember also that travelling long disatnces means two additional travel days during your trip
