Transfers from Charles De Gaulle airport to Paris

Does anyone have a suggestions for a shuttle service between the CDG airport and a downtown Paris hotel? If we take the RER, are there taxis available at the chatalet station and are there escalators at the chatelet station? We will be traveling with luggage that can roll, but I do not want to carry it up a flight of stairs. Thank you.

Le Halles - Chatelet has escalators/elevators all the way to ground level. You can find a taxi at the station.

Do think about a taxi - after a long flight the last thing you will want to do is cart luggage. I have done train, shuttle bus and taxi and have found that although the taxi is the costliest, it is worth the cost- especially after sitting in a plane for 7hours. the train into Paris -it will save you money, ditto for the bus.

I can recommend Shuttle-Inter, which I used last week to/from CDG. It is a private shuttle-just you and your party will be in the van. Lots of other TA folks have used it; do a search to see other comments. Sure beats using the RER after a long flight, IMO.
