My guess is about 40 euros. There is an estimator you can use at:

www.taxig7.com (in French only)

It could be close to 50 euro as well and perhaps extra charges (1 to 1.5 euro per piece) for luggage. There is a slightly higher rate for early morning. Btw, there is a surcharge on the meter when the taxi arrives to pick you up at your hotel if the hotel calls one for you.

I have read/heard that if you phone for a taxi, the meter may start from driver%26#39;s dispatch location, plus waiting time.

However, whenever we%26#39;ve arranged a taxi the day before, the driver has always started the meter when we take off.

It%26#39;s a good idea to reserve a taxi the day before, especially for early morning pickup. You can have someone at the front desk do this for you, or phone the G7 English speaking dispatcher 01-41-27-66-99. They%26#39;ve always been early, and often there%26#39;s no place to park, so you%26#39;ll want to be at the curb with your bags a few minutes ahead of your requested pickup time.

The meter always had a surcharge on it when the taxis (i.e. Taxi Parisien) the hotel reserved the day prior to departure arrived to pick us up.

%26quot;djk...%26quot; you really must have %26quot;lucked out%26quot; my taxis that I have ordered the day before from my hotel have always had a surcharge on the meter when they picked us up.

The taxi companies usually charge from where they start to pick me up. I have asked before if they would start the meter at zero and have been told no the charge is legal.

I%26#39;ve noticed that whenever this question comes up, no one suggests the alternative to a taxi - a private shuttle (e.g. shuttle inter). Is there something special that a taxi will provide that a private shuttle won%26#39;t? The price seems to be awfully similar unless I%26#39;m missing something. Thanks

Our taxi -for 3 w/ small luggage-cost 40euro at 7am from Eiffel Tower area to CDG. And we breezed right out to airport

Thank you all for your information.

We had bad luck our first and only time reserving a shuttle (and it was (is still?) a popular shuttle company too). Driver did not wait for us upon arrival at CDG.

And I’ve read about more bad than good experiences both here and elsewhere regarding shuttles. A couple of major complaints were that the shuttle didn’t pick up the passengers at the reserved time resulting in late or almost late departure from CDG and the endless driving around when there is more than one party being shuttled.

We have not had a bad experience using the legal Taxi Parisien taxis except for the one literally crazy, rude cab driver from Gare du Nord in March.

%26quot;IMEC%26quot;:

I have used shuttles RT from/to CDG many, mant times. Only one time did they fail to pick us up to return to CDG on time. It was good I had built in an extra hour in for pick up time or we would have missed the plane.

Now I recommend either the AirFrance bus or a taxi.

I prefer a taxi.
