Gites for 2 in La Rochelle area

I am struggling to find a gites for 2 in the La Rochelle/Isle de Re area.

In particular, I would like a private pool rather than shared and this seems to be very rare.

Ive searched lots of websites including ownersdirect and gites de France etc but cant find anything.

We are looking to go the first week of July preferable or if not, the first week of September to avoid the crowds.

Are we looking for something that doesnt exist with the requirements we have?

Hi,

Have a look at both the Ile de Re and La Rochelle tourist office lists (if not done already), they have a good list of places - although I don%26#39;t know if they have anything suitable for you it may be worth a try
