10 days in St. Remy with child - recommended day trips?

I will be staying at a rental house on the outskirts of St. Remy with my wife%26#39;s family and our 7 year old daughter for ten days in mid-June.

We are just starting to get into doing the research on family-friendly activities in Provence and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. She is mature for her age so any adult sightseeing activities that she might also find interesting are of interest as well (like touring Les Baux, etc.).

Thanks!

You%26#39;ll need a car, are you planning on hiring one? I%26#39;d suggest

Arles, roman ruins, van Gogh connections, cathedral

the Camargue, white horses, black bulls, pink flamingoes

Taracon castle and river, Beaucaire the other side

Glanum and monastery of St Paul de Mausole, within walking distance of the town

Les Baux, ruined hilltop village and world heritage site

l%26#39;isle sur la Sorgue, Sunday antiques market

the Luberon, for all the small villages

Apt, just because it%26#39;s pretty and quiet

Fontaine de Vaucluse for the %26#39;fountain%26#39; and the paper mill

Nimes for more Roman ruins and large park

Avignon for pope%26#39;s palace and bridge

Aix for the fountains and the cafe life and the cathedral

Cassis for the seaside and the boat trips

Hyeres for the seaside, the mediaeval town and the island of Porquerolles

Thanks! Yes, we will have a car so we can get around to all of these places.

Our daughter has a nut and mustard food allergy so it may be a bit of challenge as far as food choices go, so we will probably carry a lot of food with us (we did buy a card which describes her food allergies in French and we speak the language a bit, which should help).
