What are your favorite books or movies that feature Paris? For grownups? For children? I know about Les Miserables, Madeleine, and the Red Balloon. What else would you recommend? The children are 9 and 5. I%26#39;ll look forward to hearing your favorites!

there are many many more movies from France set in Paris that have never been shown in the USA..

Taken is also one of the latest films to use Paris as a backdrop: it was a pleasant surprise.

Tell No One

Hi -
A Little Romance - Diane Ladd%26#39;s first film, and with Olivier - how great is that. The film is a charmer.
|||
My favorite ones are Amelie and Paris je t%26#39;aime. Have just watched the movie called Paris with Juliette Binoche. Lot of Paris...
|||
2 Days in Paris, with Adam Goldberg and Julie Delpy

Oh Gosh! I forgot about A Little Romance with Diane Lane. It is such a sweet little movie.

Hemingway%26#39;s Paris by Robert E. Gajdusek. This is a book of photographs taken by Robert%26#39;s wife to which he added quotations from Hemingwat%26#39;s writings, both fiction and non-fiction. They are mainly black %26amp; white photos, but they loved Paris so much that as you flip through the book you will recognize places and things. You can find these used for $4.00 or so.
Sadly, Robin, a noted Hemingway scholar, passed away a few years ago.
