We dined at Chez Clement after a show and very much enjoyed it! Moderately priced with a good reputation and its about 100yards? from Opera Garnier.

Cafe de la Pait is almost across the road from the Opera house. There are restaurants all over the place, so you won%26#39;t go hungry. Just depends on how much you want to spend. Menus are posted outside the restaurants so you know what you are getting into before entering. I will be there May 29-June 9. Great town. For quick food, Galleries Lafayette has a nice cafeteria in one bldg, and then a gourmet market and eating stalls in another bldg. Good stuff.

Depending on what you want to eat, there is a Chez Clement (a chain),a Hipoppotamus (a chain), cafe de la Paix, Grand Cafe... You can also eat at Hediard or Fauchon near by at Madeleine. There also is a l%26#39;Ecluse on the side of Madeleine. Plus the many cafes in that area. Try side streets like rue Caumartin, rue du Havre, rue des Mathurins etc. where you will find less obvious restaurants.

At any rate, walk around, look for a place that appeals to you, there are MANY restaurants in a 100 meter circle from Opera.
