3 things: View of Eiffel Tower, Romantic, & Authentic

My honey and I are going to go to Paris on our anniversary in November. I love the Eiffel tower and have a vision of staying in a romantic hotel room that has a view of the Eiffel Tower. I have seen lots of hotels that have been remodeled to look so modern and contemporary. I want one that has an authentic feel. I have done a TON of research and I just can%26#39;t seem to find a hotel that fits the bill. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks!!!!

If you would consider an apartment rather than a hotel room, see parisperfect.com . . . the apartments look gorgeous and many views are stupendous.

If you are happy to stay in Montmartre you could look at the Regyns. The better rooms have a view over Paris rooftops to the Eiffel tower, the walls are upholstered in Toile de Jouy, the rooms are Paris small but adequate, ensuite bathroom and the lift is tiny. Most authentic and cute.

The hotel is on Abbesses square and the metro is right in the square and still has the authentic metro, green, art-deco ironwork. There are beautiful Parisian cafes, boulangeries, patisseries and so on right at the door, but it is not the touristy melee that you find further up the hill.

I suggest you check Hotel Muguet (http://www.hotelparismuguet.com/) and Hotel Daquesne Eiffel (duquesneeiffel-paris-hotel.com/en_hotel1.htm), both have some rooms with a view of the ET (you would need to ask for it) and they are boutique hotels with a traditional decor.

It%26#39;s Hotel Duquesne.
