We are travelling from Paris to Switzerland and after viewing some train schedules, we see on the Saturday day of travel, there is a train that arrives in Strasbourg around 9:00 am and leaves around 1:00 pm.
I would love to stay the night but our schedule doesnt seem to permit it so I wanted to know, how close is the main train station to the main town. Is the cathedral close to the main station?
can we get some worthwile main sightseeing within those 4 hours?

You can walk from the station to the cathedral in 20-25 minutes or just a short tram ride then 5 minutes walk. Take line A to %26quot;Place Kleber%26quot; and then you see the top of the cathedral.
4 hours will give you time to see the cathedral and the area around it and have a nice (if early) lunch.
