when and what time do you arrive?

For rue Gounod if you arrive before about 9pm you can easily get the 23 from terminal 1 costs one euro [currently the stop is in rue Gounod -i think the stop is currently called Gounod /gare] or the 99 express costs 4 euros - to train station - then walk past the magnificent red brick art deco telephone exchange /post-office building down to hotel Gounod

If you arrive after 9pm you need to get bus 98 but request the gare sncf [gare ess enn say eff] - costs 4 euros
