bus no.23 from airport to Comte de Nice Hotel

Can anyone confirm this bus route please? I normally take the 98/99 from the airport and haven%26#39;t taken this route before but I believe its much cheaper also. the hotel is way up behind the station. any help appreciated.

what time of day and when are you arriving?

the 23 only costs one euro and is about the same journey time as the 98.

at the moment the route would be :

On the 23 get off at Vernier/gambetta walk uphill a bit till you get to rue clement roassal [multari bakery on the corner]

keep walking along clement roassal past the intersections with rue dabray and then rue alfred binet , continue on till you get to another junction with an odd bit of grass plus some trees to your right and 4 roads, take the left here and voila you are at the comte de nice hotel .

If you reach the tramlines on ave malaussena you have gone too far but are only 2 mins from where you should be.

NB don%26#39;t use the hotel%26#39;s bus directions , they are using the old route for the 23.

You alos have the option of taking the 99 bus and getting off at the train station, then walking downhill to the tram stop gare thiers and go one stop to Liberation [use same ticket you got on the bus] - or just turn left at he bottom of Ave Theirs , under the blue lighted bridge to ave malaussena , walk up to rue clement roassal , then turn into the first left into rue du Dijon.

Hi selkieNice, thats brilliant, thanks ever so much. We arrive around 11 am on the friday for Grand Prix weekend. I have been to Nice several times before so have some decent maps to follow your directions. Its quite a saving for two of us to take that bus as opposed to 99! Much appreciated.
